  On 22nd Sept 2017 a three member team from VISHWANIKETAN comprised of Mr Dhananjay Khanzode,Director VIC, Ms Shalini Singh ( TPO ) and Prof Anand Khandekar visited PRICOL Technologies Limited, PUNE office at Bawdhan , Pune.The meeting was attended by Mr Prabhakar Neelkant, Consultant- Technical and Training , their HR personnel and Mr Vivekananda Challa, Practice Manager, Engineering and Design ( via SKYPE ) as representatives from PRICOL Technologies.             Prof Anand Khandekar initially briefed them about VISHWANIKETAN, its philosophy and the entire Project Based Learning Cycle. They were informed about the BUSINESS club and its methods, the SE presentations and the TE group discussions. In addition the entre VAP process and its functioning was explained. Department of mechanical engineering arranged an industrial visit to the Gas Turbine Power Station, Uran for B.E. Mechanical students. Total of 75 students visited the plant along with Prof. K.V. Mane and Prof. R. Baghel. Students had a very nice insight about the working of the plant and how exactly the power station runs. Fortunately we got the well experienced trainers out there to make this visit a complete success.

The department of mechanical engineering conducted an invited talk on 23 rd August,  Industry expert Mr Vikas presented his views on career opportunities to fresh graduates in the field of centrifugal pumps. Mr Vikas has an experience of 21 years in the field of centrifugal pumps .Final year students were briefed about different types of pumps and their design criterion.Director Dr Mrs Janhavi Inamdar felicitated the guest and prof S B KADAM invited the guest of honour. The session was interactive where the students were informed about industry needs and technical parlances..
