This is an on road track event conducted by SAE India from 15th July to 20th July, 2019 at Budhh International Circuit, Greater Noida. Prof. Akash Bidwaik coordinated Mechanical department students as a faculty advisor. The competition is conducted in 2 different ways, 1.Static Event, which has design report, cost report, business presentation 2.Dynamic events which consists of acceleration test, brake test , skidpad test, autocross, and final event endurance. Scoring is provided for every event. The event has over 130 colleges from all over India , and more than 2500 student participants. Team FALCON Participation Memento
The department of mechanical engineering conducted
an invited talk on 23 rd August, Industry expert Mr Vikas presented his
views on career opportunities to fresh graduates in the field of centrifugal
pumps. Mr Vikas has an experience of 21 years in the field of centrifugal
pumps .Final year students were briefed about different types of pumps and
their design criterion.Director Dr Mrs Janhavi Inamdar felicitated the guest
and prof S B KADAM invited the guest of honour. The session was
interactive where the students were informed about industry needs and technical
parlances..
