NATIONAL CONFERENCE (ETAT-2019)

Department of Mechanical Engineering has organized a National Conference on " Emerging Trends in Automotive Technologies (ETAT-2019)" On 22th April, 2019. Total 45 research papers in the field of automotive technologies were recieved and after successful review selected papers were called for presentation on the day of conference.

 Conference started with a welcome note of honorable principal Dr. B. R. Patil and Dr.  S. S. Inamdar delivered a opening message.

 Two keynote speakers addressed the participants during conference conference on emerging trends of automotive technologies, namely
1. Mr. Vinay Warje (Sr. Manager,  MSC software)
2. Mr. Nimesh Baba ( Founder Baba Automobile)

 Best paper was awarded with a Cash prize in both student as well as academician category.

This is an on road track event conducted by SAE  India from 15th July to 20th July, 2019 at Budhh International Circuit,  Greater Noida. Prof. Akash Bidwaik coordinated Mechanical department students as a faculty advisor. The competition is conducted in 2 different ways,  1.Static Event, which has design report,  cost report, business presentation  2.Dynamic events which consists of acceleration test, brake test , skidpad test, autocross, and final event endurance. BHANDARDARA HYDROELCTRIC PLANT VISIT

 Department of Mechanical Engineering arranged an industrial visit for B.E. students to Bhandardara Hydroelectric power plant on 5th & 6th October. Total 45 students attended th visit along with three faculty members. It was a nice blend of practical knowledge and natures beauty.
