# SAE SUPRA India 2019

This is an on road track event conducted by SAE  India from 15th July to 20th July, 2019 at Budhh International Circuit,  Greater Noida. Prof. Akash Bidwaik coordinated Mechanical department students as a faculty advisor. The competition is conducted in 2 different ways,  1.Static Event, which has design report,  cost report, business presentation  2.Dynamic events which consists of acceleration test, brake test , skidpad test, autocross, and final event endurance. Scoring is provided for every event. The event has over 130 colleges from all over India , and more than 2500 student participants. Team FALCON Participation Memento

# INTERNSHIP ON FORMULA RACING CAR

  TEAM FALCON MOTORSPORTS, SAE collegiate club of Vishwaniketan’s iMEET organised a “ 08 DAY INTERNSHIP ON GASOLINE/ ELECTRIC FORMULA RACING CAR DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT” from 24 th to 31 st August.  This event is organised in collaboration with Elite Techno group and coordinated by Prof. Akash Bidwaik .  4 trainers from ET Groups shared their experiences and taught students how to Design, Fabricate and test a Electric as well as Gasoline F5 race car. Both of the race cars were manufactured by the students at our workshop.              The students were divided into 2 groups for manufacturing the vehicles and to conduct a friendly competition between the 2 groups.  The competition was judged between the teams based on different aspects like time consumed to make car, social media response, presentation skills etc.            Overall the event was a very big success and hugely positive feedback was received from the students. Invited Talk # MESA

Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a motivational talk on “Developing talent, communication and Team building skills" for 2nd year and 3rd year student. Dr. Meha sawant was the speaker of the event who is founder and director of happy minds. She is a social entrepreneur and has completed bachelors & masters in psychology. She works in the field of psychology education and research. Happy Minds is a Social Venture started by 3 women entrepreneurs back in 2013. We are working in the field of Education and Health by applying the concept of Psychology.         Happy minds have been successful in touching lives of 30000 individuals across 5 states and their main areas of work are Career counselling, Employee training programs and Student skills enhancement program. This event was coordinated by prof. Kishor Mane and supported by MESA. Around 100 students benefited from this and also shared their views on the talk after the event.
